COVID message in Dance
We settled on our seats the announcements were going on. After some time speech was made by DDC chairperson then began the parades of different wings of forces like Army, CRPF, Police etc. J&K police got the first position.
JKP parade
After the parades were over, the students from different schools were called on stage to present their shows.
The exceptional showcase of talent took me by surprice. It was not an easy task for judges to pick out the top three teams.
Performances were not merely entertaining but teemed with messages and lessons covering every area ranging from environmental to social.
The show was not hindered by the untimely rain that left the costumes drenched and performers and audiences shivering.
Although audiences were under waterproof canopies but the chill was so winterly to make them shiver. I was shivering too, but the jawdropping performance of school children offered warmth.

As soon shows concluded, different awards were handed over to employees, social activists , business men , media persons and participants. The shouts, hoots and squeaks of children while hearing their names made the ceremoney lively. It took me back to childhood and left me in nostalgia for a while.

I assume that the unknown dance from the CRPF is from the goa and maharashtra side. The farmers and the fisherman dance I suppose. Looks like you enjoyed the day. Keep posting the diary posts and keep posting awesome images :)
