The match started in the way of Arsenal when Arsenal's #10 Emile Smith-Rowe hit a shot from outside the box, even though United's Goalie, David De Gea, was down hurt. The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) was checked and it was confirmed a goal because David De Gea was knocked down by his own man.

United answered with the second goal of the game when Fred laid a nice pass to Bruno Fernandes, who then knocked it past the Arsenal goalie; marking his centurion of games with a goal. The 52nd minute saw Cristiano Ronaldo pull a rabbit out of his bag by beautifully placing a tap-in to the far left of the goal; giving United the lead for the first time in the game. This goal was added to make Ronaldo the first player to score the most competitive goals for both club and country; a record milestone of 800 Goals.
The Gunners were not hesitant to equalise when Martin Odegaard slotted home a low cross from Gabriel Martinelli, to make it 2 goals-a-piece.

A penalty was awarded to the Red Devils at the 70th minute when Fred was fouled by Martin Odegaard in the 18-yard box. Odegaard failed to make contact with the ball as he took Fred down. The VAR was checked and it was confirmed. Ronaldo took the penalty very cool, calm and composed as he always does. Arsenal failed to reply to the goal and the Reds sailed to victory.

Chelsea play against a very tough and in-form West United this Saturday... Would Chelsea prove themselves to maintain their stand on the league table?

Or they'll succumb to the will of West Ham?
