Hello everyone! Am Abasifreke Umoh by name and a graduate from university of Uyo here in Nigeria.
Today I will be talking about my experience on steemit and what it has done for me.
Before I begin I don’t think it’s proper to talk about steemit without letting my readers know what steemit is all about.

Steemit:

Steemit is a social media just like facebook and instagram but the difference is when you are a steemian you get paid when you post quality stuffs and by quality I mean posting original contents not copy and paste. Which means your post is worth something.
It’s actually a block chain and by that I mean it operates on a steem block chain. It has two tokens which is Steem dollars and steem.

My story:

60 days ago I was introduced to the community by my friend @prettycynthia, but I’ll say this, it wasn’t easy at first, I thought it was a Ponzi scheme, my thought came because of what happened last year, we have a lot of Ponzi site with huge promises I know this because I was a victim and it didn’t work out for most of us, it was really bad. So hearing of a site that has something to do with rewards was a little bit scary. After a lot of persuading I decided to be a member and from that day everything changed.

I became the better version of me.

The first few weeks wasn’t easy for me because I was very new to the system. Actually I got discourage at some point but she didn’t lose faith in me. She kept persuading. So I had no choice than to give it all.

Am proud I made that decision.

What steemit has done for me:

• Steemit has been a positive driving force for me.
• It has helped in improving my writing skills.
• It has expose me to new friends @Ewoso, @fortune-Inyang, @Diamondvisuals, @nairadaddy, @amec, @surpassinggoogle, @artaddict, @prechi, @samstickzz, @princeso. Etc.

you guys are the best.

• Through readings of peoples post have been able to acquire new knowledge from different fields.
• It has given me a purpose in life.
• It has given me money to cater for myself.
• Through steemit have been able to understand what cryptocurrency is all about.

My message to everyone out there.

Basically, what i am trying to do transcends beyond that. It goes deep down to generations yet unborn. Steemit is also a means to leave them legacies. Basically, the suffering must end or at least be easier on them when they arrive cos we were here. As for steem, we take it to the moon, not the other way around, so promoting is one of our roles. Everyone is has a stake in steem.

So I will say this, “If you’re not a member of steemit you’re jonzing”. Because steemit is the greatest platform on earth and it has so much to offer. You might think you can’t write but I bet you to devote one month of your life to steemit and you’ll be amazed by what you can do. Its offers different tags you could read from, so even if you can’t write at least you can read quality contents every day to impact yourself.
