What is Technology and how it has affected the community

The use of the term technology has changed significantly over the last 200 years. Below are some of the definition.

American sociologist read Bain wrote that technology includes all tools, machines, utensils, weapons, instruments, clothing communication and transportation devices and the skills by which we produce and use them

The Webster dictionary offers a definition of the term that technology is the practice application of knowledge especially in a particular area. It is also a capability given by the practical application of the knowledge.

Ursula Franklin : In 1989 defined technology as the practice, the way, and manner we do things.

Bernard stiegler :defined technology in two ways
Technology is the pursuit of life by means other than life.
Technology is defined as an organized inorganic matter.

How automobiles affect the community.
Aids of automobile and its effects:no invention affected the Americans. Everyday life like the automobile in the 20th century the technology for the automobile existed in the 19th century but was made a useful accessible gadget by hemmy Ford when he implemented the assembly line idea into automobile manufacturing the model T which was the resulting car from the assembly line plants sold for $440 in 1914 which was a quarter of the cost of previous decades.

Ford reduced consumer option by stating that customer could choose whatever color of car they wanted so far as it was black by 1920. There were over 8 million registrations of cars vans with the number trailing to 23 million by the end of the decade. The growth of the automobile industry card an economic resolution as dozens of spin off industries blossomed.
