Specifications Intel's new Processor Core i9 Extreme Edition-18

Intel has made a @quantum leap in @processing with the new Core i9 X-series, especially with its new core, the 18-core @processor, a @desktop unit.

Intel has recently unveiled the technical specifications of the unit. The CPU has the number (18-core i9-7980XE) and has a base speed of 2.6GHz with the Turbo Boost 2.0 clock at 4.2GHz. Turbo Boost 3.0, which develops faster performance in the processor with a speed booster of 4.4GHz, can also be used.

The new @CPU is second in speed and is only preceded by Core i7-7700K at speeds of up to 4.5GHz, the fastest available for desktop computers. But this may be a shock to some, as this new unit with 18 nuclei is a decline in performance, if it comes to games alone.

The subject seems strange. The latest Intel computers have basic speed under 3GHz. But what's covered is Boost, which will give the processing unit a boost when computing power is needed.

For other members of the X-series family, the 16-core model will enjoy between 2.8GHz and 4.4GHz, while the 14-core version will start at 3.1GHz. Intel is able, as we wish, to provide higher processing speeds despite fewer nuclei due to the heat problem, which decreases as the number of cores decreases.

Other specifications can be found in the following table:

These @processors, which have 14 nuclei to 18 nuclei, will be available on  25 September , while the processing unit with 12 nuclei will be available earlier on 28 August . This was a simple overview of the next treatment monster, but by making sure it will take some time to get the full technical details of the new processing unit.
