A Slimmer Winged Insect~~ Damselfly
Damselfly, a very familiar winged insect after the dragonfly. It is commonly found around the bush, near the shallow, freshwater habitat. I noticed it again this afternoon near the ditch. These species vary in color, yellow, orange, and green are mostly found. Damselfly belongs to the Zygoptera in the order Odonata, classified as predatory insects. Most of the damselfly fold their wings along the body when at rest, unlike dragonflies which hold the wings flat and away from the body. It's nice to see its slimmer body thru a macro lens and the way it stands tempted me to play some time with many clicks.
All damselflies are predatory; both nymphs and adults eat other insects. The nymphs are aquatic, with different species living in a variety of freshwater habitats including acid bogs, ponds, lakes and rivers. source
