Hello dear friends! Welcome to my post. How are you all? I hope you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this Steemit learning challenge season 21 week 2 organized by @lhorgic. The topic of this challenge is about "Introduction to Logo Design". So let's start the task without any more delay of time.

Discuss logo design based on your understanding about the topic.

The logo design is a process of combining visual arts, thoughts and principles in the form of a specific design known as logo design. In the marketing of a brand, their logo holds a great significance as it acts as a symbol to recognize that specific brand whether it is shoe brand, clothing brand and other businesses. A special type of logo tells everything about the brand, business or any specific organization.

Furthermore, every symbol, color, elements and form used in a logo, tells about the personality of the brand or company due to which the logo is created with the combination of creative thinking, amazing designs and elements. There may be several principles of a logo. Let's have a look at some of them;

1. Simplicity:

• A logo must be simple and composed of engaging colors, visual elements and other content present on it. The logo created with that combination can be used in several works and can easily be generated in different types.

2. Uniqueness:

• A logo must be unique and different from others present in the market as if it is similar with others, it may lose its originality. Also, a unique logo make it distinct from others and stand out easily among the other logos.

3. Versatility:

• A logo must be versatile in nature as due to that feature, it can be converted into various formats and its elements can remain unchanged. That thing ensures the uniqueness of the Brand and it's logo.

4. Relevance:

• A logo must have a clear relevance with the brand, business or a company and the people can understand about the company or brand after having a first sight in their logo.

5. Scalability:

• A logo must be scalable and have a unique style, length and design and also it doesn't lose his colors and other other visual elements with the passage of time.

Discuss extensively the role and impact of logo to a brand.

The logo is very important for a brand and it has a great significance in the reputation of a brand, business and a specific organization. This is because, the logo helps to get the attention of people from the whole market and existing competitors. Furthermore, it acts as a face of brand because we get knowledge and key aspects about a brand after having a sight at their logo. Anyway, let's discuss more about the role and impact of logo for a brand:

1. Brand Identity:

• The logo establish brand's identity and stand out among the existing brands and their logos. This is because, the visual elements of a logo, tells the audience about that specific brand. For example, the logo of Apple, tell us about that company.

2. Put First Impression:

• It is a saying that, first impression is the last impression, which means that the first impression of anything can make it valuable and useless at the first moment. So logo puts the first impression of company on the audience.

3. Recognize a Brand:

• The logo is used to recognize a Brand from the existing brands within a market. For example, if you want to buy Nike's shoes, then you should definitely look at their logo in order to recognize them from others.

4. Establish Loyalty:

• Also the logo tells about the loyalty of a brand. For example, just look at the logo of google and Facebook etc as they are working since the years and having their same logos which tells that they are loyal with the people.

Explain and demonstrate visually the do's and don't when it comes to Logo design. You can do more research to be outstanding and kindly ensure not to use my specimen logo.

Don't Imbalance The text:

Before making a logo, try to understand briefly about it, i.e about its visual representation, elements, colors and typography etc. Then start making a logo because without keeping in mind these things we may make some mistakes which may ruin our logo. So in this regard, I want to tell you that, never imbalance the text present on your logo as it may affect its versatility and ruin your logo.

Design a simple logo with the knowledge you have gotten from this lesson by assuming that a client gave you a job to design for his brand (business).

Step 1:

• In the first step, I have opened the canva app and then clicked on the creation of telegram sized post. After that, I clicked on the elements option to select the element for my logo which you can see in the below pictures.

Step 2:

• In the second step, I have changed the colors of both the element and the background of my logo and I have selected these colors of my own choice by clicking at the colors option marked in the below pictures.

Step 3:

• In the third step, I have clicked on the elements option again to select the element of my desire which you can see in the below picture and then I have clicked on the text option to add text to my Logo.

Step 4:

• In the final step, after adding the text and colors my logo is ready to view and in the below picture, you can see it is ready.
