Hello dear friends! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this Steemit engagement challenge season 19 week 1 in this Hindwhale Community. The topic of this challenge is about "Power Of Communication Skills". Do you agree with the statement "communication skill is the power?" Why or why not?

Yes of course I agree with the statement that the communication skill is the power and only humans has that power as we can communicate with each other. This is because the Allah Almighty has bestowed the human with speaking and listening ability among all his creatures. With that power we can understand other what they want to say us and then respond them accordingly. The communication skills not all about listening to others answering their queries and talking with them. There are many things include in it which make the communication effective.

The communication skill is all about the way through which you express your thoughts with others, listen to them and then respond them. As a whole the communication plays a significant role in our lives as it allow us to communicate with others, convey our ideas to others, resolve the conflicts in our personal and professional lives. Also with the communication skill we can influence others as when we listen to them carefully, answer them perfectly then these combined things will tell us others about our communication skill.

Can you provide an example of situation where "Communication skill is the power"?

Yes indeed the communication skill plays a crucial role in our both personal and professional lives as from resolving the domestic conflicts to making agree your clients on your work it all depends on your communication skills. This is because when you have great communication skills you can convince others on your points very easy. Just imagine you are a doctor and you are treating who is so much conservative about his illness and also he is hopeless about his survival as he is suffering from a fatal disease.

So you have some extra ordinary communication skills and before treating him, you talk to him politely, rebuild his enthusiasm, make him able to fight against that disease and through your communication you make him clear that disease will disappear soon so in results the half of worries of patient will disappear permanently. Being a doctor with good communication skills will definitely treat half of the patients disease through communication.

Some historical examples where "Communication skill is the power" led to significant change?

Yes the history is full of examples where the power of communication has changed the fate of people and also the people of whole country. As through communication we can rebuild the enthusiasm of people in completing a certain task. So that kind a situation happened in the history of Islam where the Muslims army were consists of only 7000 soldiers and the the army of opponent were consists of 100,000 Berbers. Hazrat Tariq Bin Ziyad was the commander of Muslim's army who was a brave person.

After seeing a large numbers of opponent army the Muslim soldiers lose their hopes of winning but Tariq Bin Ziyad wanted to win that Battle at any cost. So to nake his soldiers to fight bravely, he burned all the boats which they used to cross that river and delivered an inspiring speech which truly defined his communication skills. After listening to that speech, his soldiers regained their lost power, enthusiasm and then started fighting bravely and defeated the opponents. His speech was;

'Oh my warriors, whither would you flee? Behind you is the sea, before you, the enemy. You have left now only the hope of your courage and your constancy. Remember that in this country you are more unfortunate than the orphan seated at the table of the avaricious master. Your enemy is before you, protected by an innumerable army; he has men in abundance, but you, as your only aid, have your own swords, and, as your only chance for life, such chance as you can snatch from the hands of your enemy.

If the absolute want to which you are reduced is prolonged ever so little, if you delay to seize immediate success, your good fortune will vanish, and your enemies, whom your very presence has filled with fear, will take courage. Put far from you the disgrace from which you flee in dreams, and attack this monarch who has left his strongly fortified city to meet you.

Here is a splendid opportunity to defeat him, if you will consent to expose yourselves freely to death. Do not believe that I desire to incite you to face dangers which I shall refuse to share with you. In the attack I myself will be in the fore, where the chance of life is always least.'" How can one improve their communication skills?

Yes indeed everyone didn't have the communication skills as they vary from person to person also in some cases some people are expert and has great communication skills naturally. But also some people are very less talkative as compared to others who sometimes lack of these skills. Anyway there are many tricks and tips through which we can improve our communication skills. So according to me the following steps can be helpful for that person who want to improve his communication skills.

• First of increase the vocabulary of words in your mind about that language in which you want to improve your communication skills.

• A large vocabulary of words will prevent you from sentence breakage during communication as through the words you can make a sentence easily.

• Prepare yourself mentally to talk to others and make eye contact with them during communication to maintain continuity.

• Always be an active Listener and listen to others carefully so that you can understand their points easily and then answer them.

• Get your body language to engage during communicating with others such as facial expressions, eye contact and hands.

Conclusion

In conclusion we can say that the communication is a great power to understand others and convey our ideas to the people. In this way the community make our lives easier as we can build a healthy relationship with our family in our personal lives and with our clients in our professional lives. I just want to say that if you are lacking of good communication skills then just improve them as it will make your life easier.
