In this afternoon I will share some beautiful photos of the city of Lhokseumawe, North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province
Lhokseumawe City was the capital of North Aceh Regency before being separated and divided into a separate government in that city. I have long memories because for more than 6 years I continued my secondary education in the city from junior high school to senior high school.

The city of Lhokseumawe was once the most economically influential city in Aceh Province. This is because in North Aceh, the largest gas was found in the world in 1970, thus making the city of Lhokseumawe so economically developed and dubbed the city of petro dollars.

The growth of giant projects such as PT Arun and the Iskandar Muda fertilizer project and the ASEAN Aceh fertilizer made the city of Lhokseumawe so advanced in its time with various tribes that inhabited the city because of the large number of immigrants working in Lhokseumawe City.

The following are photos that I took using my cellphone camera from several corners of Lhokseumawe City which has now changed and is no longer a city that is growing economically rapidly because of the exhaustion of gas that used to support Lhokseumawe City.

These photos of every corner of Lhokseumawe City evoke memories for me, the changing times are so fast that it doesn't feel like so much has changed

Now the city of Lhokseumawe only relies on the local economy and the circulation of money from the government with slow development and only relies on services and tourism that is not too developed because there are no very attractive tourist spots.

Despite all the things that I have mentioned above, for me, the City of Lhokseumawe still has its own memories because apart from studying there for 6 years, I also lived there for about 2 years when I started my education before finally leaving the house that I was in. it is about 20 km from the city of Lhokseumawe

Hopefully Lhokseumawe City will continue to develop both economically and civilizationally and still maintain traditional cultural values ​​and Islamic law. After all, the majority of Acehnese people are Muslims, so Islamic law must be maintained and the beauty of the city must also be considered for cleanliness and comfort so that every citizen of Lhokseumawe City feels comfortable. and it's safe to live in the city
