New comer Gmail
Microsoft has been dominating productivity software in business circles. Meanwhile, Google followed in second place in corporate email market with G Suite offerings.
Google seems to want to change that. Now G Suite users can sense the new secret mode to set an expiration date on email. Users can even block recipients from continuing, copying, downloading, or printing certain messages.
Though such an information rights management (IRM) feature was introduced by Microsoft in Outlook in 2007.
To improve security, Google also adds improved email phishing detection, two-factor authentication to protect email.
Gmail for new businesses also has a stronger offline mode so that on-the-go businesses can use the regular Gmail tab in the browser without having to worry about connectivity.
