China Might Have Covered Up The Covid Threat Leading To Stronger Tensions With The US, and Affecting The Lives and Economies of Millions Around The World
The COVID-19 pandemic is probably one of the most stressful and stifling global events that many of us have experienced during our own existence on earth. However, despite the influx of information that the press serves its consumers worldwide, there are still enough mysteries floating above this pandemic and implicitly the virus from which it all started.
Dr Li-Meng Yan, a virologist at a WHO partner lab in Hong Kong, says China was aware of the existence of COVID-19 virus and its possibility of spreading to the world long before it happens, but the virologist has been forced by her superiors to remain silent.
Dr. Yan, who specializes in virology and immunology at the Hong Kong School of Public Health, says China has been aware of the potential risks of spreading the virus since December 2019, and that if measures were taken to combat it in its inception state, humanity would not to be faced today with such a pandemic, with people deprived of liberties, with economies bleeding all over the world, protests in several countries around the world, and of course suffering among the people.
Why didn't Dr. Yan divulge the information he had about COVID-19 and what are, according to coronvairus.jhu, the implications that this virus seems to have on humanity?
After emigrating to the United States in April this year, she testified that the Chinese authorities, and those at the Chinese research institute she worked with in collaboration with the WHO, were aware of the potential risks that this virus poses, and the emigrant researcher feared for her own life, and that is why she refused to speak publicly about COVID-19.
It seems that the virus has started spreading from person to person in Wuhan since the end of December, but the Word Health Organization was only reporting about it in January. Dr. Poon, the supervisor of Dr. Yan, told her to be quiet and keep working on their investigation, after getting in touch with information regarding the virus.
"I already know that would happen because I know the corruption among this kind of international organization like the WHO to China government, and to China Communist Party."
Dr. Li-Meng Yan
After all this, of course, China, in its Communist style, refused to recognize her as a member of the Chinese research laboratory, deleted her personal page from the official website, a measure also followed by the WHO, the Chinese communists resorting to threats to her family as well, still residing in China. Moreover, the Chinese authorities are carrying out a defamation campaign, and attacks on Dr. Li-Meng Yan, while US President Donald Trump has already accused China of covering up the virus spread, and has refused to send funds to the WHO.
In tune with the conflict situation between China and America, it seems that the American authorities are advising their citizens living in China to be careful about their stay there and the potential risks it implies during the times we're living. Risks that may lead to the violation of certain fundamental freedoms and rights and their retention by the Chinese authorities.
“The security alert, issued on July 11 by the U.S. Embassy in China, said U.S. citizens may be detained without access to U.S. consular services or information about their alleged crime. It added that Americans may be subject to prolonged interrogations and extended detention for reasons related to state security. Security personnel may detain and / or deport U.S. citizens for sending private electronic messages critical of the PRC [People’s Republic of China] government. ”

The implications of this global pandemic will be felt both at the level of the health of those affected, but also at the economic level. According to the UN, 45 million Latin Americans risk tasting the bitter cup of poverty, and the UN urges such countries to ensure a minimum of $ 140 per person for every citizen, in every Latin American country, affected by the pandemic, as a similar American stimulus paycheck. Countries such as Brazil, Mexico and Peru were facing a fairly high level of poverty anyway, and the UN predicts that about 5% of Latin American citizens will end up in hunger in the near future.
No one can know for sure if China has deliberately hidden the spread of this virus and whether it is all a political game or not, but one thing is clear. The fundamental freedoms of the vast majority of people around the world are being stolen, global restrictions imposed by COVID-19 are stifling, and the world economy seems to be suffering greatly from this pandemic. Many industries have had to send their employees into technical unemployment, small businesses such as event organizers and others, restaurants, and of course travel agencies, will have and still suffer from this global pandemic, and the list can continue with business affected by the pandemic.
Is China to blame for covering up the spread of the COVID-19? Is US using excuses and fake news to keep its tension alive with China?
I guess only a few know the truth. What we know for sure, the average Americans, Europeans, and almost any other citizens in the world, is that we need to wear the damn masks more than we have ever imagined, that some might have contacted the virus and suffered from such disease, and that the global economy crisis is real, and it's here to stay for a while.
Probably some of you have experienced other global events with a similar impact throughout your life, but I do not have this experience, and I never imagined that the whole planet will go through such a thing. I hope we get out of this global pandemic as soon as possible, and I hope we all get out of it well.
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
I don't think the world has ever experienced any pandemic that will completely shut down the world like this before, this will be the first of its kind.
You're probably right.

Dear @acesontop
Welcome to PH (project.hope) community :) Hope to hear more from you in the future.
Definetly China has lost so much trust worldwide. Thier cover up had huge consequences. However, at the end of the day I think most people around the world will simply not blame them. Majority of chinese will surely see their goverment as a saviours, and rest of the worlds attention will be on USA and actions taken by their authorities.
Europe and US also were aware of this threat. Both super-powers (and the rest of the world) had so much time to get prepared. And they did ... pretty much NOTHING. Even if China would release real data one month earlier - then result would be most likely exactly the same.
That's at least how I see it. Blaming Chinese authorities will not help. We shall focus on our own goverments and see what they did to protect us.
