GRIMFATHER. Pen drawing.

Hellooooo everyone,

This is Grimfather.

9x12" pen on paper.

I did this for my upcoming solo show in Chicago. It's the first full drawing I've done in a while where I left the background blank. I really dig the results.

I started with a very shitty pencil drawing. Sorry for the lack of quality.

The amount of detail in this is mind boggling, beautiful! I have included this post in my weekly curation Ocean of Art!

It is an impressive image, terrifying and very tender at the same time. I am impressed by the dedication to detail in the plot.
Maybe I miss the depth that the shadows give, I feel it somewhat flat. unless it's a comic

Yes, you're right. I could have pushed him back a little bit by adding more crosshatching on the sides of him. I would also be losing a lot of bumpy detail textures. I decided to keep those instead.

Wow man! You really need to be patient to draw this. How much time it took you to finish it? It's amazing!

Thank you. It took probably around 15 hours.

Welp... That's creepy :-0

This is incredible. I can't even imagine how long it would take to complete something like this. I am going to have to follow you because this type of art is right up my alley. Amazing work.

Awesome technique, I have to say I'm a huge fan of pen drawings and also tiny details 🖤 .
