Steem Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 30 Review
Gameweek 30 starts on 9th March. Its most important match will be its last, namely Arsenal vs Manchester United.
Tottenham, United, Chelsea and Arsenal played during the week, thus they might rest some of their players.
United did something many of us didn’t expect and they pulled a comeback against PSG. Tottenham beat Borussia Dortmund in a match which where Spurs managed to defend quite well. Arsenal lost their away match against Rennes and Chelsea won comfortably against Dynamo Kyiv.
Take into account, that these teams might rest some of their players.
City looks unbeatable, but Liverpool is only 1 point behind. The fight for the third place is looking more interesting, as Tottenham has declined in form. They haven’t won in 3 matches, thus United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all within 5 points behind them.
Spurs also won’t be a undrawable them, since they drew their last match against Arsenal.
In the lower mid table the bad fixture run for Bournemouth is over. In the last 4 matches they had to play Arsenal, City Wolves and Liverpool in which they only got 1 point. Things are looking now better fixture-wise for the Cherries, thus you might consider Fraser and Wilson.
The battle for relegation didn’t have major changes, since Cardiff and Southampton both lost their match. Brighton is now on safer position after beating Huddersfield. Crystal Palace is consolidating their good form and is now getting away from the relegation battle.
They have got 10 points out of the last 15, which is higher than Liverpool and Spurs. Milivojevic and Zaha are great assets you might want to get in your teams.
Brendan Rodgers will be managing his first match at Leicester. They will be hosting Fulham. The Cottagers have the weakest defence and Vardy seems to be in form for Leicester.
Palace will be playing Brighton. This is a match which could go both ways. If it were for home matches, Palace would be relegated though, so keep that in mind. Brighton on the other hand is 17th on away matches, so…
Cardiff will be playing against West Ham, in a match where West Ham should win. Cardiff has conceded 8 goals in their last 2 home matches.
Bournemouth will be facing Bournemouth, in a match where they could get their first win after 5 matches.
Newcastle will be hosting Everton. Newcastle is looking very strong at home. The last home match they lost was on the first of January against United. I think Newcastle should win. Even though they lost their last game against West Ham they have been on a great form, especially at home.
Tottenham will be playing against Southampton. The Saints showed that although they are close to relegation they are a strong team. I think Spurs should win, but Southampton shouldn’t be underestimated.
City will be playing against Watford. Chelsea will be hosting Wolverhampton. The Wolves have so far had a great record against the “top six”.
At last but not at least Arsenal will be playing against United at the Emirates. Arsenal is very strong at home and very weak away, whereas United have only lost one match since they appointed Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.
Arsenal will have 1 day less to rest, as they played against Rennes in France on Thursday. United also played in France but one day before. Lacazette didn’t start, so both Auba and Laca should play on Sunday.
Matic and Martial are available again. Ander Herrera, Mata, Sanchez and Lingard are still injured .
Arsenal won’t have Bellerin, Holding and Welbeck due to injury and Torreira due to suspension.
Who is going to win this game will be hard to tell. I personally think this will end in a draw.
Possible starting lineups:
Arsenal: Leno, Monreal, Koscielny, Sokratis, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Maitland-Niles, Ramsey, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang, Lacazette
United: De Gea, Young, Lindelöf, Smalling, Shaw, Matic, Pogba, Pereira, Fred, Lukaku, Rashford.
Hello there our dear witness, this game seems to be really interesting. How can we join this one? Thank you in advance for the response if ever you will see this inquiry @acidyo.
