Stonesnakes - a connecting Idea!

"Stone snakes" - colourfully painted, sometimes with or without text - can be seen more and more often in parks and along public paths.
Also here in my area a stone snake has now been started. It is supposed to connect two neighbouring villages on a bicycle and pedestrian path. The distance is about 3 km. This will probably take some time!
In any case it brings a smile to my face when I see these beautiful and colourful stones!
I haven't yet placed a stone myself, but maybe soon? :-)
"Steinschlangen" - bunt bemalt, manchmal mit oder ohne Text - sieht man in Parks und an Gehwegen immer öfter.
Auch hier in meiner Gegend wurde nun eine Steinschlange begonnen. Sie soll auf einem Rad- und Fußgängerweg zwei benachbarte Ortschaften miteinander verbinden. Der Abstand ist ca. 3 km. Das wird vermutlich einige Zeit dauern!
Es zaubert mir auf jeden Fall ein Lächeln ins Gesicht, wenn ich diese schönen und bunten Steine sehe!
Noch hab ich selbst keinen Stein gelegt, aber vielleicht schon recht bald? :-)

I just found my first one on the way to work this morning and I know they are in the parks around the area too. It's an outreach I think, to make people smile!
