Today I will will be sharing a story on what happened to me I disobeyed my father and got my rewards . What happened

On Monday this week, I tried to disobey my father and got my rewards

I had always wished to do things on my own and make my own decisions without listening to anyone. My father had always been telling me what to do, how to dress, and who to befriend. I felt bad and suffocated by all his rules and restrictions.

All I wanted was my freedom and making my own decisions, so I made a choice that changed my life completely. I started sneaking out at night, attending parties that my father forbidden me from attending.

I felt happy and alive. I taught I have arrived, like I was finally living my own life. My father would talk and talk, but I wouldn't listen to him.

One fateful evening, I attended a party hosted by my friend's boyfriend. Her boyfriend was very rich, and I knew it in my mind that the party was going to be hot, sweet, and full of fun.
When I got there, the party was so hot and fun—more than I even expected.

I joined in the celebration, eating, drinking, and dancing with everyone. I was feeling myself and taught life could remain this way. I was up in the music, laughter, and champagne.

I felt so happy and was enjoying life.
But something later happened; my recklessness caught up with me.

Trying to dance better than other girls in the party, I mistakenly fell for the party cake.

The cake fell down and was broken into pieces; it was unpicked and can't be managed for the party. I was very shocked. I wanted to disappear, but I can't.

The friend's boyfriend, who was the one that hosted the party, sighted me and started shouting at me in front of everyone in the party room.

I tried to explain how it happened, but he couldn't listen to me.

He was only shouting and even started beating me like a child because he was a hot-tempered person.

He didn't want to hear what others were saying. He gave me the beating of my life and told me to finish the whole cake on the ground and pay for it.

Other girls and boys in the party didn't know what to do; they knew no one could stop the guy because of his hot temper.

I was humiliated and beaten like a child in front of everyone.

It was then that I wished I could have listened to my father's instructions. I realised too late that his guidance had been a blessing, not a curse.

The news of my disgrace spread like wildfire; even my friends that didn't attend the party heard the news.

My father also heard the news before I got home, and he was devastated. I had brought shame upon my entire family. I learnt my lesson to always obey my father.

When I got home, I asked my father forgiveness and promised to always listen to his words.
He forgave me and told me to go inside so that at least they had taught me some lessons.

He also helped me and paid for the cake because the guy threatened to beat me again if I didn't pay for the cake before Tuesday morning.

• I learnt to always obey my father's instructions, no matter what. I learnt that disobeying our parents might seem like a good idea at first, but it can lead us to trouble. It is better to listen and learn from then.

• I also learnt that my father's rules and words were there to help me, not hurt me. I'm glad I got a second chance to make things right. This time I vowed to always respect and obey my elders.
