We are in a more competitive era in the marketplace because a lot of people have become business owner. Nobody wants to work under anyone again. Everyone wants to actually be business owner and this is making the business industry to be so competitive.
Even though we have lots of keys that will help your business to be successful such as the quality of the goods and services you render, the strategies you used to advertise your goods and services, the marketing plans and many more. Even though all of these are very important, they are not as important as the paper of customer. For me, I always see customer as the soul of every business.
If the equation of customer is removed from the business, no business van succeed. Take for example the aspect of income for business. Every business revenue and income is dependent on the nature of the customer you have. It is your customer that will patronise the goods and services you render and so if you want higher revenue in your business, you must definitely pay attention to your customer satisfaction every blessed day.
I think this is the mistake I actually made many years ago when I started my business. I was paying attention to less important things and forget to pay attention to my customer satisfaction. I was actually selling banana back then and so all I was after is the price of the banana, the income and even my marketing strategies. Even though all these are important and helps your business to be successful, they are not really as important as your customer. I pay less attention to my customer which affected the business. I began to lose customers day by day and I was not aware that it was because I wasn't able to meet my customer satisfaction.
Looking back, if I should have an opportunity to go back, I will correct the mistake. If you are running a business, always make sure you pay attention to the satisfaction of your customers. Make sure that sometimes you ask them of their feedback about what you are even selling. Ask them what they like about your business and actually what they didn't like about your business. The more you work on the feedback of your customer, the better your business will be Because you will satisfy their feelings and which will help your business to be successful.
When you gather those feedback, if you are able to get positive feedback on what your customer like about your business, make sure you focus on it more and be perfected in that aspect. If they point out what they didn't like about your business which might either be the nature of the goods, the quality of the services you render or even the packaging, it will help you to work on it so that you will become more better and better day by day.
Apart from the feedback I talked about, there is also a need for you to build trust and loyalty among your customer. You must make sure that you establish a positive relationship between you and your customer as this will allow them to trust your brand and generally your business. One of the things that I have come to discover about loyal customer is that they will not only return back to patronise you, they will also help in marketing the goods and services you are selling.
