Nehemiah 1:1-2 (MSG)
1 The memoirs of Nehemiah son of Hacaliah.
It was the month of Kislev in the twentieth year. At the time I was in the palace complex at Susa. 2 Hanani, one of my brothers, had just arrived from Judah with some fellow Jews. I asked them about the conditions among the Jews there who had survived the exile, and about Jerusalem.

Nehemiah lived for something bigger than comfort. He led a people who had a mind to work to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem in just 52 days after many years of ruin!

From his memoirs, I discovered that rebuilding the walls began with conversations - informal interchange of thoughts and
information. They spoke words and discussed among themselves! Their conversations was were it all started.

Words are very powerful! They shape our culture. What people continually say, they eventually think and do. As the church, let's be deliberate about our conversations and let's change the narrative. We can experience a 'quick work' in our nation by changing the culture with the right conversions (Words). It doesn't necessarily take a formal platform, you can use all the informal platforms that you have on a daily basis to change the narrative!

Be God's agent of change today and start having the right conversations where you are!

Live for something bigger than comfort, live for a cause!
