Africans and the universe
If man can utilize what he see around or better still what is inherent in nature. The universe. Then life will be better for all of us. As an African man i do wonder how science comes to surface, how they go about manufacturing something but I couldn't find answers to the question my heart confessed. Almost everything, if not all, equipment, instruments, more perniciously technology. Were being imported into Africa nation. I began to wonder if we African don't really have want it take in terms of resources needed in getting most of these things produced, construct, established and others words that could be suitable in conveying my mind which words have failed me.
Africans in European world
I posted a piece about three days ago now if I'm not mistaken, that we African were busy studying European languages or colonial language whilst the European were busy advancing More and more therefore waxing stronger in all ramifications (sport, health, technology, education, business skills etc). Which African remained bottom of the table as far as all these aforementioned is concerned. Anytime the word African surface, the impression that flashed in someone mind is 'developing' counties. I'm baffled and often astonished since, I do know what to say. Are we going to remain as developing nations, Or Perhaps, century to come the word developing could transmute to developed or better still advanced as the case maybe.
Back to the statement in the first paragraph, "if man could utilize what he see around or what is inherent in nature " I believe we African not do carry out research but it is often how to be get rich quickly, eradicating poverty with any specific strategy or planing, And Greedily which is killing Us, Our watchwrod is just me, me and me, perhaps if we could erase the word and face reality. Apparently, things could change for better. Another problem is that we are with more expectations without careful planning, we have to understand that not all things could be achieved at our plan but we can start the process in which the coming generations would continue from. And I don't think we sr ready for that now. As our mind is preoccupied with immediate change which might not come.
Learning
I know African man loves to read but it is not enough if we can't practicalize what we have learnt in theory. Science then is practical if I'm right, although the European are yet to explore the whole universe even our planet to the very last end, but I haven't heard that African nation indulge in carrying out research more than visiting Zoo, tourist and going for excursion without specific goal perhaps to European countries for pleasure or rather to say just for sight view. Maybe I'm wrong.
African are good when it comes to art and culture but is that enough? No we aren't going to develop in that realm alone. We need to stand up on our feet and embrace reality, though, it is not that I know what could be done. I'm just a wise parrot that sprouts whatever he feels right in his sight.
Science
It is through science, we were able to know that life on land cannot continue without water. It only does owing to the fact that rainfall. And the regulations of the earth's temperature is also partly due to seas, for they absorb heat in summer and warm the atmosphere in winter. 'Science ' impact on us cannot be overlooked. image
- Institutions in Africa is not helping matter as they only teach theory, every thing is in asbract. What is the way out of this mess?
