Lesson bonus
If you have been following my blog then it won't be a new thing to you that I'm a teacher even though I have decided not to work as a full time teacher again for many reasons unless I see a government work in the same field which I know will be more beneficial compared to just working in a private school as the salaries can't sustain someone for a whole month. If I'm to rate the salary with the developed nation then I will say it won't reach to take a day meal.
Early this morning I receive a call from a colleague who will both work in an institution of learning that the proprietress has agreed to pay our lesson bonus. when I he dropped the call, I couldn't hold myself but laugh out loud that this woman think she could manipulate things as she likes.
Before she agreed to pay this morning which in the real sense of it wasn't meant to be In her purse in the first instance but because of her selfish interest she was of the opinion that the student should pay the lesson fees together with tuition fees. We couldn't do anything about it since she insisted. It is something I had foreseen to happen that this woman will play prank on us when it comes to the time we will need the money. It was as I have predicted.
Normally we ought to have collected this money last year December, immediately the school vacated, but she put us in a dilemma that is to choose between our salaries or the lesson bonus! Since we have no option as the basic salary is relatively huge compared to the lesson bonus so we had to accept her offer with the hope that she would pay, first week of the resumption.
The resumption, the vice principal went to meet her for money as she had promise us. What she did was rubbishing the man and called him all sort of names as if we did work for the money in questions. When the v.principal left her office to give us feedback, it downed on me that this woman should be checked. We concluded that we should all go together and see what she would have to say this time around. 
It was the following day that we went there to meet her in the office, God so good. She was around. We decided to table our grievances, upon the sight of us she didn't know what to say she just accepted that she was wrong but not at first, she blamed everything on the V.principal that he didn't explain well for her that why would she not want to pay us!
