VICTORY AT LAST
Life is an interesting journey of ups and downs and how the journey end is up to you.Ewatomi became an orphan at a very tender age of her life, being the first child of her parents ,she have two siblings to cater for, life was indeed tough up to her university days, she had no one to sponsor her through school, vain promises and false hope is what the family members can make. She had to pay her first school fees with her daily contribution and her sister's saving.
What kept her going was her strong will to succeed against all odds because God said in his word that a mother can forget her sucking child but he will not forget me. She was practically living from hand to mouth, at a point, she was having the thought of dating sugar daddy in order to meet her needs but being who she was, she couldn't.
On countless occasion, she slept on Empty stomach, trekked to school and lecturers were disturbing her left and right to get between her legs .
She cried to God for intervention and he intervened, she nearly gave up during her 400l days when she couldn't pay her fees and she couldn't meet up with the date given by school administration, she cried my eyes out thinking the last three years of embittered experience and hard labour is in vain until a good Samaritan paid for her.
Today she's currently serving her father land and her immediate sister is in 300l in the University and her brother just got admitted to maritime academy.
We all have this amazing story about life, this is my plan and this is how it should work and if it doesn't happen as planned, know fully well that God's plan are far better than our dream, we don't have to give up. She never wanted to be an orphan at early stage of her life but it is a test and tests are not expected to be easy.
So when you are expecting ease from life and life gives lemon, make lemonade out of it and when life throws orange, try and change it to orange juice, it's quite okay to be scared because at a point, she was considering dropping out of school, it's okay to cry when there's a tangible reason, cry out so that everything will be OK but giving up shouldn't be an option. Thanks to her creator for upholding her. I rejoice with her.
