*EVERYONE HAS A STORY*--- DO NOT BE QUICK TO JUDGE
Hey friends, how have you been? So nice having you again on my blog. Thanks for the support, its been a while with other topics. I engaged in saluting Mama and bringing Mama to Steemit in honour of @surpassinggoogle’s mum. (May God remember her in the resurrection) and keep granting @surpassinggoogle the strength to bear.
I got inspired to do this post today cos something happened at work today. Am sorry, i wont like to bore you with the details , but the summary is that, someone need to tell, people in the territory where i live are quick to judge people. You say one thing and they interprete it into another . Besides even when you are silent, the unspoken words, to them speaks volume. Has it happened to you? It is all about judging someone, inputting motives or being quick to jump into baseless conclusions.
Do you have little time to spare? Follow me as i give you this short story to illustrate my point further.
A man travelled on a train with his 28 year-old son. Looking out through the window, the boy shouted: “Daddy, see, the trees are going behind us, they are moving very fast.”
His dad smiled at him and shook his head, joyfully, perhaps.
But a man and his wife travelling along in the same train, who were sitting very near looked at both the man and his son and giggled. They wonder why such a big boy wouldn’t know that what he just saw was a normal phenomenon.
Just then, the boy screamed louder than before: “ Daddy, see the sun is following us”. The man and his wife were unable to hold their peace anymore. The woman asked the boy’s father: Sir, why don’t you take him to a psychiatric hospital?” Her husband added: “ He is a big boy and yet, he didn’t know all these? Please get him examined.”
Hmm, the Old man sighed. “Of course I am just coming from the hospital with him.” The old man announced to them. “Oh, very good”, they say. But the Old man added: “ We are coming from the hospital, but not from a psychiatric. This boy was blind from birth. He just got his sight today for the very first time. To you, his behavior may seem abnormal but to me, it means a lot that my son could see , first time ever. Its a miracle”
Covered in shame, the nosy couple were dump founded.
LESSONS
i) Do not judge anyone so fast or input motives. Do not jump into conclusion into their private life
ii) Do not be quick to offer advice, you may be insulting or offending the receipent with your advice.
iii) Everyone on earth has a story. You do not know what they are dealing with, those whom you despise as lazy, unserious and view as liability.
iv) If you think you have a perfect life, take it easy with others, no condition is permanent.
v) Where your story ends is where another man’s own begins
vi) The real truth behind a person story may surprise you, show him some love when you can
vii) Life is too short, spend it making people feel comfortable around you.
On steemit, we all have individual motives for steeming, mission to accomplish here and a vision to see through. Do not misjudge people's motives, actions or contributions. Seek ways to better your lot and do not look down on anyone except if you are looking at your beautiful but dusty shoes.
I adore you all with all my heart, always

You are right...do not be quick to judge others.
No, never.Thanks for your contribution
This 'sickness ' of poking into other people's lives is really getting out of hand. I don't know if it is as a result of idleness or lack of exposure. 24 hours of the day is hardly enough for me to finish all I have to do, so where is the time to be judging another man's matter. 'Na who holy pass'? According to Tu-face. Thank you dear for sharing.
Thanks ma'am. I appreciate
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing. Most people draw conclusions too quick without getting their facts right.
It was a lovely article.
