The power of God

In Luke 10:19 Jesus says: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Wow that is an amazing promise, if you take it for yourself aswell.
Many times I was in situations where I was in need of the power of God, counseling could not help at all. The power of God is in us, because Holy Spirit is in us. And Paul says in Romans 8:11 : But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. If the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead. The Spirit raised Jesus from the dead. So let me ask you a question: Do you think that the Spirit of God needed power to get Jesus out from the shackles of death? Ofcourse He needed power. And if that same Spirit lives in you, do you think He remained powerless?
No, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So, my beloved friend, if you are a christian, Holy Spirit dwells in you and you have access to the power of God, you only need to access it.
How do you access it? Well first of all you need to know your identity in Christ. If you don't know who you are, you don't know what it's available for you. Second one, be filled with the Spirit of God. How do you do that? Just pray in toungues as much as you can. If you don't have the heavenly language yet just ask God to fill you up with His Spirit. Third, have fellowship with God. This is so important, that I cannot express it in words how important it is. Read the word, talk to God, spent as much time with Him as possible and then apply the Word of God in your life and you will see great results.
If you accepted Jesus in your life as your personal Lord and repented of your sins, He has made you a child of God and this is available for you. If you didn't accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and you haven't repented of your sins, you can do it right now. Just ask Jesus to come into your heart as your personal Lord and repent of your sins and He will forgive you and cleanse you and make you a child of God and set you free.

Jesus gave his disciples the power to perform miracles. There's nothing to indicate that the same power is given to believers today.

If you have the same Holy Spirit as He had, you have the same power, trust me, I see it often :)
