Hot day in the city of Sajek Valley
Sajek Valley is located on the northernmost Mizoram border in Rangamati district. The distance of Sajek Valley from Khagrachhari district headquarters is about 75 km. And about 51 km from Dighinala. The Sajek Valley is bounded on the south by Langadu in Rangamati, on the north by Tripura in India, on the west by Dighinala in Khagrachari, and on the east by Mizoram in India. Sajek Union is the largest union in Bangladesh. Its area is 700 square miles. Sajek BGB camp is located here.
Sajek Ruiluipara and Kanlak Para, consisting of these two neighborhoods. Established in 185, Ruilui Para is located at an altitude of about 1,626 feet above sea level. The Kanlak Para is located on the Kanlak Hills at an altitude of 1,610 feet. Sajeke is mainly inhabited by Pankhoa Lusai and Tripura tribes. Much of Rangamati can be seen from the top of the Sajek Valley. This is why Sajek Valley is called the roof of Rangamati.
The Sajek Valley is named after the Sajek River which originates from the Karnafuli River.
Clouds, mountains and greenery surround the Sajak Valley. Sunrise and sunset can be offered from Sajak Valley. You can trek from Ruilui Para in Sajek to Kanlak Hill. Kanlak is the highest peak in the Sajak Valley. On the way to Kangla, one can see the big hills of Mizoram border, the way of life of the tribals, and the clouds all around. Tribal festivals are held here at certain times of the year and one can enjoy various aspects of their culture with them.
