You are the rift
that draws us apart,
arrow of deceit that
pierced my fragile heart,
you gave me a broken spirit,
that nothing might
compare to my misery.
If only the pain
and suffering would fade,
if only I could stand
this fate, what I thought
we had was love,
tis'! a line
I shouldn't have crossed.
Why give me
bitterness to feed on?
why make it so
I had no other to lean on?
I thought I found
my missing rib,
never had thoughts
of you betraying me.
You made my
heart bleed non stop,
that when I remember
all this, tears drop!
you broke my trust,
and walked me to my fall.
How sudden the
sweetness turned sour,
How deeply
I'm lost in your world,
I wish all this was a dream,
If only what
we ever had was real.
But now that
I see through your lies,
all we have left is severed ties
10 years now! still fresh
like memories from yesterday,
when in my presence,
you walked away.
