Does digital device influence behaviour of a child - by @dcrypto

Everything has changed since the advent of technology. Does technology exacerbate the bad behaviour of our kids or it improve them is a pronounced question. When it comes to parenting, one has to be so attentive, which would otherwise lead to some grave repercussions on the child’s health. Some people tend to work hard at their offices and come back home with their phones on while the kid of them is waiting eagerly to play or chit-chat with them. There is no wonder that the kid either becomes gloomy or aggressive that leads to increased confrontational behaviour of the child.

Every parent wishes their kid to be exuberant, but the key role of effective parenting that has to be given to their kid is missing these days due to ubiquitous influence of the internet or some technology for that matter. Bringing up the children is an important yet complicated task, but one can do if he/she manages to give a significant amount of time to their kid.

The internet, smartphones, Television, and so on are the major culprits when it comes to poor nurturing. These devices or these technologies is making children more ferocious because they want their parents time but no one is bothering them. To fathom out the effect, researcher named Brandon T. McDaniel of Illinois State University as well as a researcher called Jenny S. Radesky from University of Michigan Medical School conducted an experiment in which parents were asked to answer a questionnaire that consists of relationship and parenting question, and it is linked to questions relating to duration of parents watching the devices.

"These results support the idea that relationships between parent technoference and child externalizing behaviour are transactional and influence each other over time," says McDaniel. "In other words, parents who have children with more externalizing problems become more stressed, which may lead to their greater withdrawal with technology, which in turn may contribute to more child externalizing problems."

Therefore, we should give sufficient time for our children to nurture them as parents cannot be replaced when it comes to raising a child.

GOOD POST THANK YOU.👍👍💖💖

I totally agree with your conclusion. Electronic devises cannot substitute a parent's role. Those parents who allow their kids to be raised by machines (computers, tvs, phones, etc) are being irresponsible. Some specialist have been arguing about the negative effects of hyper-stimulation in children by these electronic devices, to the point that this may be linked to the higher number of kids with some kind of developmental disorder.
