A vision for the future

My mother's simple words linger with me to this day: "Leave the world better than you found. it" Upon my first approach of meeting that simple mission statement I engaged with the state to further their efforts to provide education, wellness, and various protections to the people. However, in time I was struck by the incongruities of it all. I found the mental gymnastics required to sustain belief in their mission with the results I've been seeing was more than I was willing to bend. This cognitive dissonance I encountered was unsustainable and over time I have abandoned the notion that government by force (and deception) will be able to meet the challenges of the world.

In the world of their creation I see poverty, violence, and a carefully crafted free range slavery system.

When I close my eyes and envision New Gaia I see peace, prosperity, and true freedom.

The root power of the state is simple. They can print money. They've been printing money for thousands of years. Whether it was the Babylonians, the Romans, or their modern equivalents the people in charge have printed the currencies for the rest of people to use. It was a Faustian bargain though, for the convenience provided by the ease of transaction was countered by theft of resources and labor and the threat of violence brought from concentrated wealth and unchecked power. While the world has made great strides they've come at the cost of personal liberty, a feudalistic system where people are treated more like soldiers than civilians, and it would seem the very core of it relies on deception and fraud.

I cannot abide the system around us. So, daily I endeavor on a simple mission: Increase the utility of cryptocurrencies and expand their reach. Introduce new people and help them learn overcome these difficulties.

For the power of blockchains and cryptocurrencies to drive change and innovation will push the digital revolution into a new gear. Radical transparency, immutable records, user consideration, voluntaryism, and decentralization expand the potential of their users and directly oppose the opaque system that like clockwork ignores the needs of those it promises to serve.

In this vision of meritocracy you can start with nothing and rise through hard work and creativity. You can access information that had previously been held by just the elite. We build partnerships with those we choose rather than those allowed. And the world will produce more than it needs and we'll have enough to widen our circle so that we can care for those around us.

Block by block I see this vision building. I see protection by the chain to speak truth to power, but with the wisdom of the crowd to reign in folly. I see the freedom to choose a counterparty rather than obediance to arbitrary rules set by another. I see the power to walk away from corruption and choose a path that fits your heartspace. I see public servers providing voracious transparency rather than hidden systems unassailable and behind closed doors.

I see streaming content based off rules I set. I see commerce with partners I choose regardless of the preferences of others. I see a world where I choose a system in which to interact rather than being forced into the one I'm born into. I see choosing the currencies I'll accept in exchange for work and I'll choose the conditions of my labor. I see the world compete on a level playing field where markets create opportunities for those that have historically had none.

I see a world where the love of one another is stronger than will to subdue another. I see a world where my children are safe in public spaces and so are yours. I see a world where people work together to bring radical abundance into fruition so that our children and their children have better lives and better opportunities than we can even dream of today.

I invite you to share a vision. To align our goals together to build something awesome. So that we can lay a foundation for the world to latch onto and find a better path than the one we've been lead to.
