Hello my stemian friends ... I hope we're all in good health. This time I posted a photo of a famous Muslim worship location in Banda Aceh. This photo I took some time ago at night and I joined for the #architecturalphotography contest by @juliank
One side of Baiturrahman Great Mosque located in the heart of Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province. Baiturrahman Great Mosque is one of the most beautiful and thickest mosques in Indonesia. In addition to having a beautiful architecture, Masjid Raya also has historical value, because it was built since the Sultanate of Aceh, Sultan Iskandar Muda.
The mosque which is now one of the icons of Aceh province has also been burned by the Dutch army during the aggression. But the Dutch again built the mosque to seek sympathy for the Acehnese nation. Baiturrahman Great Mosque is a place of worship of Muslims and also become one of the religious tourism sites in Aceh today.
