[Screenshot Saturday] My Gaming Updates (May 02)

in INVEN Gaming5 years ago
This week featuring BlazBlue and Manual Samuel.

Weekly updates on the games I play, fun stuff and the interesting screenshots I take. #ScreenshotSaturday is where I put a digest of my gaming through the week. (In GameDev scene, ScreenshotSaturday is a weekly event for developers to show their progress.)

Hi guys! Welcome to another #ScreenshotSaturday! I was busy the last week so I missed writing one but now I'm back! I played games from my backlog this week. I already wrote about Manual Samuel and I'm planning to write about BlazBlue in the next few days.

Like usual I'm still watching Ifrit's Playthrough of Persona 5 Royale but instead of two hours a day, I now watch two epsisodes a week. The whole playthrough will take a long while.

Manual Samuel

Like I wrote in my Review: Manual Samuel is a short game about a guy who made a deal with grim reaper after his death. For a whole day, he would need to do everything manually. He can't blink, move or breath except consciously. If he manages to survive the day he'll go back to life.

I loved the game and how polished everything is! I didn't finish it as I stuck against some hard boss (if there was a thing such as GAME OVER in this game I would have got it 1000 times already.) I decided I got my enjoyment of Manual Samuel and uninstall it. As for screenshots, I posted some in my Review so I'll post different ones here:

He's so spoiled even his bulters' parents have to care for him.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

BlazBlue is one of the franchise that I wanted to get into for a while now. (Since I heard about Tag Battle which features characters from other franchises such as Persona.) Just the other day I realized that I got Calamity Trigger in one of the bundles that I've bought before so I decided to try it.

I suck at fighting games! This game looks like it have a strong story mode, but I haven't played enough of it to form an opinion on the story, and I suck at fighting games enough that it'll be a challenge to complete the story even for one character. (Maybe I need to change the difficulty setting to Easy for this one.)

I just love "for science" as evil motivation

Ragna's story mode: First encounter!

Ragna's story mode: First defeat...

Yup! I really suck at fighting games. I think BlazBlue will become my main game for a while before I write a First Impression or Review article about it.

So, that was my week!

There was a slight increase in STEEM price this week which is something I'm glad about. I noticed a dip in the quality of my articles lately so I'll try to focus on quality next week even if it resulted in fewer articles (or none at all, because I have yet to come with a good idea except for my Persona Symbolism series of articles.)

How was your week?

Do you have some screenshots or stories to share? Please post them in comments. I didn't receive a lot of comments on this post series so I hope you tell me if you like it.

All screenshots are taken from respective games by me.
