UAZ cars are preparing to invade the Chinese market
UAZ auto factory in Ulyanovsk plans to expand sales of its off-road vehicles in the Chinese market.
UAZ press office reported that it was preparing to supply its car to the Chinese wholesale market, where the factory is waiting to license its products before marketing. The office said that the plant received a positive report after inspecting its facilities by the Chinese monitoring body, and gave some advice on improving the product quality testing system.

The control system also inspected the vehicle production system and processes to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Chinese Quality License Center.
The UAZ plant has to be licensed to Patriot, Pickup, Hinter and Compi. The plant has already started supplying cars to China for 2016. The company plans to sell several thousand cars a year there.
