Greetings!

I am very glad to write my achievement 2 post on Steemit platform. I am very thankful to my steemit Pakistan community, especially @hassanabid and @steemcurator03 , they verified and appreciate my work related to my first post achievement 1. I am also thankful to @cryptokannon, her post give good knowledge about basic security on steem.

Now the second task is to write about the basic security of Steemit platform. Every newcomer must know about the basic security risk of steemit platform. If you do not know the basic security keys of steemit then you can easily cheat by scammers.

When I read many posts regarding the basic security of steemit platform, then I realize its importance.
So let’s dive into the basic concepts of Security Keys. Steem platform design overall security of user account in fallowing basic keys. Figure 1 describes the basic keys and their purpose.

1: Posting Key

This is the basic key of Steemit Platform. As its name describe, it uses to post, edit, vote, mute and follow any account. Mostly use this key for logging on to the steem account.

2: Active Key

The active key is used for wallet transactions. It is very important because without this users cannot able to sell Steem, transfer funds, Power-up & down transections, witness vote and update profile details and place a market order. In short term, this is required for all monetary transactions on steem.

3: Owner Key

The owner key gives the right to the user to change its account passwords. Users can change any password of their steem profile. But users have to enter the permission key, in the form of an owner key. The owner key has the highest importance in all steem keys, so that’s why the user should save it offline mode. If you lose the owner key, then there is no other way to reset the account.

4: Memo Key

This key is used for the encrypted and decrypted message when transfer funds to any other account.

5: Master Password Key

The master password key is the key, the user gets it when he/she first-time signup the steem platform. Through this key, the user gets all other passwords of steemit.com wallet, and use these passwords going forward. It is used to generate all other keys, including the owner key.

Answer: I have saved the master password in my diary as well as in my google drive account. I have also print it and keep it with my important documents.

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer: Yes, I know how to transfer steem token to another steem user account.

Step1: Go to the Wallet tab
Step 2: Click on Steem Liquidation
Step 3: Select the Transfer option from the dropdown list. (Transfer to account window will open)

Question 5: Do you know how to power up your STEEM ?

Answer: I know how to power up and power down using my steem by active key.

Step 1: Go to the Wallet tab
Step 2: Click on steem Liquidation
Step 3: Select the Power up option from the drop-down list.
Step 4: Convert to STEEM POWER window will show , Put From: @xyz ( From which account you want to receive power)
