- Weekly Engagement Topic Contest Week #12

Hi every one
Today i will be sharing about a tour i made to northern areas of Pakistan in 2019. it was the month of August. Weather was extremely pleasant. It was the right time to visit such places.
Tour comprises of many worth seeing places but the part i enjoyed alot is towards the neelum valley and river. We started from Murree early in the morning. Hired a private vehicle. Driver was well awared of all the tourist spots. He suggested to visit the neelum river and a beautiful waterfall that was at the point where river neelum start. This place is quite far so few people know about this waterfall.
After travelling for about 3 hours, we reached the spot. Road was very dangerous as there was no any protection on either side. At our right were the mountains and on left flows the neelum river. Its look was divine.

Waterfall was just amazing. It was noon so very few people were there to enjoy the view. Water was cool and relaxing. They have placed local charpaaes and chairs right below the water fall in the water. Sitting there and listening to the mesmarizing sound of water splashing was simply divine.

We spend alot of time there. Just sitting by the water fall, putting feet in cool water and enjoying the snacks from nearby restaurant.
The funny moment was when my husband dropped his glasses while going near the water fall. Although water seemed calm but it was dropping with such pressure that wind around the water fall make you drop easily.
This was the reasonmy husband dropped his glasses. Lucky he was to had an extra pair with him. Otherwise this thing is enough to ruin the whole tour. I was scared of the water fall so i didn't go near it.

We spend almost 3 hours there. Cool breeze from water fall and chilled water beneath, make us unable to move from this place. The best part was only few people know about this place, therefore we found only couple of other tourists there.
It was the best tour i had in my life. Hope you people will enjoy the virtual tour of this water fall as well.
