Rework - Noya
Well, well, well. Coming back from the dead I am.
January lasted forever and I didnt like it one bit, too many stuff to do but drawing xD Thankfully it is over, so I can get back to my personal goals.
Personal misadventures with ink pens aside, I've neglected my digital works (ironically enough tho, I have a huge pile of ongoing sketches). Partly because tiredness, and partly because I AM testing every-single-brush and material I've ever downloaded in Clip Studio, so I can finally aim for some consistency.
In the meantime, yesterday I (roughly) remade Noya's portrait. It goes without saying, but... cant believe both drawings are barely a month apart from each other.
Settling for smaller eyes was a good call. Also, perhaps is due to the fact I've grown to doodle at least 3 out of 7 days of the week, but I noticed I got better at drawing mouths, ears and nose. Still getting there when it comes to the face shape and the expressions, but i'm def improving and that's awesome.

It's something I wrestle with as well, but I appreciate how you're finding your cadence with regular drawing! It shows here, and I've noticed growth in your sketches, even if I don't see them regularly. Well done!
Thank you, I appreciate it 😄
Smaller eyes eh, uh oh you're headed for realism ;D
Or perhaps not, it's just a trend I've noticed with a few of my friend who start off drawing anime and slowly develop their own style (in my case I never had particularly large eyes but still have limbs that go on for the better part of forever).
Most very definitely improving, you will do that out of sheer repetition anyway but it's happening so much faster because you're consciously working at it :D
Realism? Not really. I just think smaller eyes look better with my style, but they're still big in human standars.
