Is it true that constant failure at something in different ways can lead to a more significant breakthrough in life?

Yes. That attitude can be called patience and persistence. These two can go well with someone or something that would surely make a significant breakthrough in life. Because, there will be a day that, the constant failure in a particular thing in different ways will surely bring victory... because doing same thing in the same way and expecting a different result ain't good. So, the emphasis is on doing same thing in different ways and that, surely, look like someone who is searching for a breakthrough.
I am reminded of my father who seemed to fail at most every he tried in life. But he never gave up; he always tried again with something else. This continued into his latter years of his life when he finally found his niche and was a success.
I never forgot what I observed with his response to a failure...keep trying, and eventually success will follow.
Hello, @ajorundon, you reason very well.
Scientists always make trial and error until they achieve what they need an excellent product with quality standards.
