What do you understand by common cold?

The common cold is an infection of the nose that affects human beings by destabilizing them. Although it is an ordinary sickness that can be treated without medical care. In other words, the common cold is an infection that affects our upper respiratory tract, which can result in other sicknesses such as malaria, especially if not treated in time. Adults aged 18 and above can have 2 or 3 colds annually. Anybody can get a cold, and it does not last long.

Write causes and symptoms of it.

Germs called rhinoviruses are the most common cause of colds in humans. An infected person can easily spread the virus through droplets that are sneezed directly into the air. Moreover, this can also happen when a sick person and a healthy person shake hands, potentially causing infection. Children often get this sickness at school, especially when playing with their friends.

Symptoms of the common cold are:

  • Headache
  • Runny nose
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Sneezing
  • Pain in muscles and bones.

The symptoms last for 5 to 6 days, depending on how you treat yourself.

write some natural treatments to overcome this problem.

There are many natural treatments available to overcome this challenge:

1. Honey: This helps to fight against cough because it contains antimicrobial and antiviral properties. It works effectively by consuming three servings of honey daily. The next day, you will begin to see a positive change.

2. Sleep: An infected person should try to get enough rest. Upon waking up, you will feel relief because your immune system has helped you regain your strength.

3. Shea butter: Apply shea butter on the top and inside of your nose. When done regularly, you will notice water starting to come out of your nose, and you will feel relief.
