Weekly Reflections #24: "An Inspirational Person I Admire"

The inspirational person is someone who influences our life positively. In this life, we have different people we choose as our role models or influencers due to the qualities they possess. Today, I would like to partake in the topic above with the title: An inspirational person I admire.

The man that I love most on this Earth is Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He is so humble, gentle, caring, and respected by the companions. The journey of how he lived his own life inspires me a lot, even though I was not born during his time. We heard stories compiled by the companions. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had a pure mind and did not hate people, even if they were not from his religion. He was loved by the Muslim Ummah due to his good character.

The reasons why I choose him as my number one influencer or role model are that he motivates everyone to do good, no matter how small the good deed is. He was an inspirational figure to me and to everyone because he treated everyone equally and delivered justice in a good manner, even when it went against the rich men in society.

I cherish the simple lifestyle of our beloved prophet because he does not chase worldly riches. Some of the words he stated during his lifetime inspire me because they contain guidance and teachings a person needs to enjoy his life. He likes to give and encourages Muslims to give what Allah has blessed them with so that they can receive good deeds in this life and the hereafter.

Additionally, he was a caring father and loving husband to his wives. He liked to play a lot with children and caution among them who misbehave. This type of good character I want to emulate, and I am working toward that by God's grace.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was a man of the people and the person I admire so much. He once told his companions to respect elderly people so that others can respect them as well.
