STEEM PAYOUT CHECKER (An Update On Development)

• What feature(s) did you add?
  I had earlier posted this contribution and it was actually passed off as an hobby project but I really want to proof that its much more than that from the feedback I had gotten and the uniqueness this project has in comparison to other works that does something similar.

Below are lists of update done to the project since it was last rejected.

• Addition of MVC structure to make codes more readable and easy to contribute
• Addition of withdrawal time (Users can now see how many days left for a payout)
• Addition of Weekly Payout In dollars based on the price of SBD from coinmarketcap
• I also fixed a bug that would not let the site read usernames with periods

How did you implement it/them?

• Implementing the MVC is simply straight forward, I only had to create a model , view and controller structure while I separated my codes into classes that have no html presence.
• Implementing the withdrawal time was done by converting the date of creation of the post to UNIX time , adding the equivalent of 7 days in seconds and then subtracting it from each other in terms of the present time. Then I converted the time left into human readable time.
• To implement the Dollar Value of the total payout, I only had to create a cron job that retreives the Price of SBD from coinmarket cap and then I multiplied that with the total sbd payout
• I had to correct and rewrite the MOd.rewrite commands in the .htaccess to allow usernames with periods.
