Diecast Cars and Memories of My Childhood
Hello everyone...
I am sure that every adult has fond memories of their childhood. A time when you were still spoiled by your parents. When your parents receive a salary at the beginning of each month, they will definitely buy you toys.
But my childhood is not like that. Both of my parents are farmers. They only have income when the rice harvest season arrives, or when the chili harvest is three, or four months. At that time my parents would not buy me toys, they would rather buy me new clothes, or new pants.
But luckily, if I want to have a toy car, I don't have to buy it in the market because my friends and I will make it from bamboo or sago palm stem, for tires we can use used flip-flops.
It's different from today's kids. Now, especially in urban areas, it is difficult to obtain bamboo or sago palm stem. And not necessarily children want if you give them toys made of bamboo or sago palm stem, "it's old fashioned," they say.
Currently toys are not only sold in toy stores, in all supermarkets there must be special shelves for toys. My children, when they go with their mothers shopping, always ask to buy diecast toys. They will whine loudly if not bought. This is a collection of diecast toy cars my kids have.
Sometimes I casually borrowed these toys from them, I took them out of the house and played alone on the ground or sand. It may seem crazy, but it evokes fond memories of childhood, and I enjoyed it. How about you?
