How Rampant is Vote buying?

Vote buying in Barangay level was worsen than ever. The corrupt practices such as Vote Buying can no longer be stop. It already in the roots of every Filipino mind. Those who will not give will loss the election.

Long before, the candidates tactics to win people was to invited to their houses and treat for a meal, others treat for wine, cigarettes,

Then it came to be a practices by giving 5 php to 20 php from the people wanted to be elected. And as time go by, the amount that they give was double and triple.

Now if you run as barangay captain and you will give none, the chance of winning is 30%, so you already loss!

Last barangay election, the amount for Barangay Councilor to give is 20 php and you will win! If you do not give money, you will loss for sure!

Today, If you give 20 php you will loss already, If you give 50 php, 50/50 chance of winning. If you give 100 php as barangay Councilor, you will win! This is how money talks every election here in philippines! This play was in Barangay level only but worse in national level! The competition will always involve money!

Now, Is there any law to prohibit vote buying?

surely there is,

The problem is, who will report if this people are eager to accept of! or waited who will give to them?

Election in barangay can be no election at all. The power of money is playing the role. The chance of changing the minds of Filipino about this corrupt practices knowing it was rooted from the depth of every Filipino is none.

Election is no longer effective in choosing a leader or a barangay captain, or barangay councilors. Most of this people wanted to be elected has no job and wanted to serve in the barangay but are they really unto serving?
