I was lost for many years as I crossed through many tears
Struck with confusion as I faced plenty fears
Lost all sense of self, set sanity top shelf
Dissolved into the aether and nobody could help
The shadows became the darkest once I found the light
Magnified their existence, it put them in my sight
Count each of my blessings now cos I tried to take my life
The war upon my psyche took its toll and I almost lost the fight
Crash landed in the gutters by my own regard
You may not see the wounds, but my mind will hold the scars
I've come upon a fork in the path and the choice was easy
My love to you all, and I bow to those who believe in me
Seen a lot of snakes in the garden so now I'm guarding the gate
The castle once pillaged put the walls back in place
Quick to knock a pigeon from sittin' on the fence
Either you're fully perched upon the nest or you're past tense
I don't have to be direct when you're picking up the hints
Fuck you, and that's my two cents.

Born to be a survivor, not giving in to weak foundations
The equation stated pervasion of the occasion shouldn't be evaded
Mapped a course and blazed it, no time ever wasted
