Birds from an empty village.

It is quiet, although I am in the middle of the village. Many of the houses are inhabited only by one old man, others are already permanently empty. Some movement is detectable among the frozen rosehips. A lone bird sits here and feeds quietly. He was here yesterday, and the day before yesterday, I saw him as I passed by, on my way to good-places-to-shoot.

Now they are not very good lights, but it is worth staying to make a series of images. Sometimes it retreats towards the trees, then it is not worth trying to give it a picture, but it also goes to the edges, where it is in the sun… There are also periods when the sun's rays brutally illuminate it, others when the lights are more delicate…

There are therefore many variables, from the position in which the creature is… sometimes more visible when totally hidden between the thorny branches; the moving lights and shadows also change… and the photographer's desire to care / or not, about this subject is also different
