Hello! A small preview of the matches of the fifth round of the English Premier League. There will be no super matches in this round, but all the matches are pretty “fighting” there simply will not be anyone.
Especially highlight is the Manchester United - Leicester City match. After four rounds, Leicester confidently holds the top three, the team shows character in every match, but so far there have not been any serious opponents in its path. Chelsea at the moment can hardly be classified as serious rivals, but the Blues were able to pat their nerves to the foxes, but if the guests were more precise in the second half, then Chelsea would hardly have gotten a draw. Lester also pulled out a guest victory in Sheffield and confidently outplayed Bournemouth with a score of 3-1. And in the interval between these matches, Newcastle also played in the League Cup. After four rounds, Manchester United is in eighth place and this is hardly what they expected, both the fans and the club's management before the start of the season. The "devils" still have little success and the team on the field is still not there, the criticism of Paul Pogba does not cease, and the Frenchman, meanwhile, is engaged in the fight against racism. United in the last three rounds have traditionally shared points with the wolves, lost to Crystal Palace and tied with Southampton.
Wolves - Chelsea. This match will also be quite interesting to watch, and in terms of bets this match is also interesting. Wolverhampton second season demonstrates a fairly high-quality game. This season, the wolves made their debut in the Europa League and went to the group stage without having suffered a single defeat at the qualification rounds. In connection with the game in eurocups, the team has lost a bit of its position in the Premier League and currently occupies the 17th position, however, despite such a low position in the table, the wolves are still a formidable opponent. In the last round, the wolves lost to Everton 3-2, before that the team played three matches with Leicester City, Manchester United and Burnley. Chelsea is now at the stage of building a new team, so far things are bad in the defense of “pensioners”, but the attacking potential of the team is pretty good. Little by little, Christian Pulisic is assimilating. The young Mason Mount fits perfectly into the team, confirms the status of the main scorer of the team Tammy Abraham. All six goals scored by Chelsea on the account of these two guys.
Sheffield United - Southampton. “Blades” from the first matches in the Premier League make it clear that they are not going to fight for survival. The team fights to the end in every match, regularly scores, but at the same time regularly makes mistakes in defense. In the last round, Sheffield snatched a draw from Chelsea losing after the first half 2-0. Before that, the blades went through the Blackburn League Cup, lost to Leicester City 1-2, beat Crystal Palace 1-0 and tied Bournemouth 1-1. “Saints” also cannot be blamed for the lack of dedication, in the last round they defended a draw with Man United, and earlier in the round they beat Brighton away with a score of 0-2. In the cup, the saints beat last year's Premier League participant - Fulham with a score of 0-1. In the first two rounds, the team lost to Liverpool 1-2 and Burnley 3-0.
Norwich - Manchester City. Another match with a rookie league. Canaries at the start of the season also look like a pretty nice team, of course they have little chance in matches with top clubs, but with the middle peasants the “canaries” are able to score points. True, there is one problem, it seems that the Premier League teams are adapting to the game of Teemy Pukki and Daniel Farki will have to change something in the attack. In the game with West Ham, the home team did not give the Finn anything to create at their gates, so it will be interesting to see how the team will modify its game. Manchester City is not the team to try new options in the attack, unless you are Liverpool, but it will still be interesting how the team behaves in the match with the champion.
So I chose these four matches for myself, as they are quite interesting in terms of bets. In the match against United - Leicester I consider the bet Total Match over 2.5 with 1.95 and the Individual Total Leicester over 1 with 2. Wolver - Chelsea, here I consider the bet Both Team Score with 1.7 and the Individual total Wolves over 1 with 1.7. Sheffield - Southampton, here it can be considered as the Total hosts over 1 with 1.9, so and both will score. In the Norwich City match, I will consider the goal of Norwich with 1.87.
On Saturday, matches will also be held Liverpool - Newcastle United, Brighton - Burnley, Tottenham Hotspur - Crystal Palace.
On Sunday there will be two more matches. Bournemouth - Everton and Watfod - Arsenal. Also, another match will be held on Monday Aston Villa - West Ham. Since there are few matches on Sunday and Monday, I will bet on them live.
