Si conoces esta película entonces sabrás de que se trata este maquillaje, me gusta mucho lo terrorífica que resulta “la otra madre” de Coraline así que intenté hacerlo yo misma, la mitad del rostro de Coraline y la otra mitad de su otra madre para dar un lado adorable y otro lado mas siniestro.

If you know this movie then you will know what this makeup is about, I really like how terrifying “the other mother” of Coraline is, so I tried to do it myself, half of Coraline's face and the other half of her other mother to give an adorable side and a more sinister side.

Para la mitad de rostro de Coraline me guie de varias imágenes de internet ya que hay distintos maquillajes y formas de representar a este personaje, así como una niña normal como también una niña con ojos de botones, una de las imágenes que elegí fue esta.

For half of Coraline's face I was guided by several images on the internet since there are different makeups and ways of representing this character, as well as a normal girl as well as a girl with button eyes, one of the images I chose was this.

Por otro lado para la parte de la otra madre, me guie por esta imagen, quería hacerla en su momento más terrorífico así que elegí la última imagen donde está completamente pálida y cadavérica.

On the other hand, for the other mother's part, I was guided by this image, I wanted to make it in its most terrifying moment, so I chose the last image where it is completely pale and cadaverous.

Así que comencé mi maquillaje, primero usé una base del tono de mi piel en todo el rostro luego encima en la mitad izquierda use una base un poco más pálida la cual cubrí después con un polvo completamente blanco, no quedo tan blanco como quería pero al menos se nota algo de diferencia, después de esto, comencé a pintar el lado de “la otra madre” añadiéndome algunas líneas negras en el rostro para simular esa apariencia de piel quebrada, después empecé a dibujar mis cejas de una manera que quedaran más curvas y se viera con algo de maldad. Para finalizar esta parte del rostro con una pintura negra comencé a pintar la parte de mi pómulo y con delineador liquido negro pinte la boca la hice más grande y de una forma algo curva.

So I started my makeup, first I used an base of my skin tone all over my face, then on top of the left half I used a slightly paler base which I later covered with a completely white powder, it didn't turn out as white as I wanted but when the difference at less is noticeable, after this, I started to paint the “other mother's” side, adding some black lines to my face to simulate that appearance of broken skin, then I started to draw my eyebrows in a way that they were more curved and be seen with some evil.
To finish this part of the face with a black paint I started to paint the part of my cheekbone and with black liquid eyeliner I painted the mouth I made it bigger and somewhat curved.

La otra mitad del rostro fue más fácil ya que es algo sencillo Coraline no tiene mucho maquillaje así que hice algo súper simple, solo aplique algo de rímel en mis pestañas, pinte mi boca de un tono rojo, me puse algo de rubor y dibuje unas enormes pecas en el cachete.

The other half of the face was easier since it is something simple Coraline does not have much makeup so I did something super simple, I just applied some mascara to my eyelashes, painted my mouth a shade of red, put on some blush and drew some huge freckles on the cheek.

Ya estaba casi todo listo pero faltaba algo muy importante y era el ojo de la otra madre, así que le arranque un botón a una chaqueta e intente pegármelo de varias formas pero nada resultaba, así que amarre el botón de un hilo y lo sostuve desde mi cabello con un gancho pequeño.

Almost everything was ready but something very important was missing and it was the other mother's eye, so I ripped a button from a jacket and tried to stick it to me in several ways but nothing worked, so I tied the button with a thread and held it from my hair with a small hook.

Me tome varias fotos y escogí las que más me gustaron, después comencé a editarlas algo exageradas pero quería que el color de la piel de la otra madre fuera muy intenso.

I took several photos and chose the ones that I liked the most, then I began to edit them somewhat exaggerated but I wanted the color of the other mother's skin to be very intense.
