¡Ella me dio la vida! / She gave me life!
My mother is a woman who has been through many things and who in spite of everything was always strong, she was always there for me to support me and to this day she continues to encourage me to do what I like.
Life with her is wonderful, the love I feel for her is enormous and all the moments we have lived are unique to me.
In December 2011 my dad died and it was a hard blow for both of us, he was not the most perfect person in this world but he was still our family, it was a completely traumatic event and between the two of us we managed to gradually make it more bearable, from that moment I knew that I had to start to become independent and help my mom in any way I could.
I started working, she was always supporting me and helping me to get a job, until I finally got one and we were able to move on.
From time to time we would go out for a walk and when his birthday approached he would do the impossible to celebrate it even if it was by buying a cake or any gift.
My mom makes the most delicious food, really. Her food is divine!
Two and a half years ago when I had my son I moved with my partner to him apartment, then my mom visited me every weekend and stayed here a whole day, that helps me a lot emotionally since I was used to live alone with her for many years, it fills my soul to have her close.
Since the beginning of the quarantine I have not seen her, I usually talk to her every day on the phone but she has not been able to come and visit me and I have not been able to visit her, one of the things I hope most from the end of this quarantine is to see her again.
I hope that soon this situation will end and those of us who cannot see our families will finally have the opportunity to meet and share, to take advantage of every minute with them because in a second they can no longer be with us.
