Well who’s ready for a quick delicious, simple 10 minutes dish? Today we are going to be looking at what I call my flash dish cos it’s very easy to prepare, delicious and nutritious too. It’s the crispy banana fries and sauce.

Readily available ingredients are simplyIMG_1088.jpeg
  • Bananas
  • Flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • Vegetable oil

Procedure

  • Wash the bananas in water and fry in hot oil for about 30 seconds. Bring them out of the oil and pour in cold water to cool off.

  • Mix two table spoons of flour in little quantity of water to make a thick paste.
  • Peel the bananas and press them down with a spatula to flatten a little.

  • Put the banana into the flour paste to form a coat around it.
  • Fry the bananas in oil until golden brown.

You can enjoy with stew, tomato sauce or ketchup. It very crunchy and delicious.

Are there any tips for making the 10-minute dish more flavorful?

This simply recipe can be made more flavorful depending on the taste you want to achieve. You can decide to shred some ginger and garlic into the flour paste and that would give the fries a different flavor from using just a pinch of salt.

You can even decide not to add salt at all or any spice you enjoy can go along depending on what you are looking at.

Is the dish for one person or several people?

This quantity I made was just for me. I used it for my dinner because I wanted a quick dinner hence I opted for a ten minute dish. It was even ready in less than ten minutes.

Of course If you want to make more for more than one person, you would have to increase the quantity you would be preparing.

Is this dish healthy? Will it cause any problems in digestion?

This is a healthy quick dish made from banana and banana is a herb; most people do not know this and also classified as a fruit hence the dish is a healthy choice and fried with vegetable oil which is a recommended healthy fat is a good choice. Avoid frying food with industrial oils as they are not healthy.

Who would you like to share this dish with?
Well, a couple of my steemians friends. I would love to share my food with @zisha-hafiz. And I would also want there to try out the recipe at home. You can also fry it out and give me your review but believe me you would love it. I got glued since the first day and it’s readily available for everyone to try out as long as they have banana in their region.
