Life can be full of hassles, hustling and bustling and trying to make ends meet. The rat race can be really stressful hence any day I get to put up my feet and rest, I take them very personal and I love to make the most of it. So it was for me on this faithful Wednesday which was the 10/4/24.
I woke up to do my normal routines of praying and studying and doing my daily devotional. I always have an early morning meeting to catch up with online every 7am and this Wednesday wasn’t exempted.
I joined my early morning meeting which usually lasts till 9am. When I was done, I was hungry and I decided to dash into the kitchen and fix up a quick breakfast for my hungry soul. I had some eggs and some fresh tomatoes and bread, hence I decide to prepare omelette and bread and wash it down with a cup of beverage.
Am not a fan of drinking plenty tea with my bread and egg, I just like it in small quantity as you can see from the picture of my breakfast. I know some persons who actually use big mugs to make their tea, am just the opposite. The smaller the better.
After my breakfast, I logged into steemit to do some posts and engage with other users while attending to my notifications. I love to steem a lot because I love to write. Hence any free time I have is my steemit time and sometimes too I make out special times for steemit just as am doing now.
This day was actually a good day for me because it Was a resting day for me. I told myself I wasn’t going to do any tedious task. I just wanted to relax, rest and unwind and that was what I did.
On my resting days, I don’t go out. I stay indoors all day and put up my lags and do nothing. All work and no play makes Jack a full boy and too much work kills. Our body is like an engine and we should once in a while give it rest to rejuvenate and work properly to avoid breaking down. |

So I really rested. The only work I did was steeming and preparing what to eat. It was a decision. I rested all through the afternoon and then in the evening, I prepared a dinner of bitterleaf soup and Garri and ate.
I came to our common room where we usually entertain visitors and ate my dinner there. After eating, I stayed back and rested while receiving the fresh air for the evening.
A lot of people were coming and going while I remained unperturbed. I stayed in the common room while steeming and I must really say it was a day of putting up my legs and resting. I call it my best day cos I really loved the fact that I had enough time to unwind from the stress of daily hustles.
There should be a balance between rest and work. Don’t be too lazy and don’t over work yourself. Maximize your days for even achieving.

Absolute more stress is not better for our health. In every hours of work we must stay and walk almost 5 minutes to get better health. You spent a whole day at home with nothing to do just eating and steeming. Best of luck.

You mostly spend this day in the kitchen i must say. Tekno once sang "woman place na for kitchen"😁. You had a light breakfast which helps you equal to all task. It's been a while i drank tea and bread, talkless of indomie 😂. Goodluck dear friend.

Your Diary Game Is Very Beautiful & Increased stress is bad for our health. Every hour at work, we must stay and walk for almost 5 minutes to increase our fitness. You spend the entire day at home, eating and steeming. Best Wishes For You.
