Strawberry Soylent: The Brand New Flavor of Everybody's Favorite Liquid Food Substitute!
I meant to get to this review sooner, it's not exactly timely now, but a new flavor of Soylent hit store shelves back in July. It's a good deal sweeter than the chocolate flavor (cacao) and more in line with what you'd expect from, say, a strawberry shake.
I personally appreciated how subtle the flavors were before, but understand if this is what the focus groups wanted. Probably a lot of first time buyers of Soylent are turned off and feel misled when they spent $4 on something they expect to be flavorful only to find it very mildly flavored.
It has been confusing to read other reviews which describe the strawberry flavor as mild. If this is mild, how do they taste the chocolate at all? I'd say it's just about right for a dessert, but a bit much for something that was always intended to be bland from the start.
Strawberry is the replacement for the "nectar" flavor, which people were extremely divided on. Personally I found it nasty, although not as nasty as Chai. With the addition of Strawberry, that brings the number of Soylent flavors I enjoy up to 2, sharing the throne with Cacao.

I don't think that's a real phenomenon. So far as I can tell there are no studies supporting the fear that soy lecithin increases estrogen or diminishes testosterone levels.
The people promoting the idea that soy causes hormonal gender confusion seem to mostly be impoverished, obese white nationalist trailer mutants who highly prize their imagined manliness because they have nothing else. Although I wonder where they got the idea that aggression and cruelty are manly. Their abusive fathers, probably.
