Bireuen Regent attends Musrenbang RKPK 2026.
Bireuen Regent, H. Mukhlis, ST, for the first time since being inaugurated, met face to face with community leaders in the Bireuen RKPK 2026 Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) at the sub-district level. This activity took place on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, involving three sub-districts, namely Kuta Blang, Gandapura, and Makmur. The previous event was opened by the Deputy Regent of Bireuen Ir H Lazuardi MT.
This Musrenbang was attended by Bireuen DPRK members from the electoral districts of Kuta Blang, Gandapura and Makmur who raised the theme of improving infrastructure, competitiveness and regional fiscal independence supported by innovative and Islamic-cultured human resources. The activity was also attended by related agencies.
The presence of Regent Mukhlis in this Musrenbang is an important moment for the community, considering that this is the first time he has gone directly to the field in his capacity as a regional leader.
This meeting is an opportunity for the community to convey their aspirations and hopes regarding development in their respective areas, in the three sub-districts.
In his speech, Regent Mukhlis emphasized his commitment to developing Bireuen with a more open and participatory approach. He emphasized that successful development can only be realized if the government and the community work hand in hand.
"Today I am present in the midst of the community not just to talk, but to listen. I want to hear directly the complaints and hopes of all of you, because good development is that which starts from the needs of the people," said Regent Mukhlis in front of the Musrenbang participants, "he said".
He also emphasized that this meeting is not just a ceremonial event, but the initial step of his government's real work in developing Bireuen Regency.
"I want to ensure that every development plan is truly oriented towards the interests of the community. There is no program that is made merely as a formality, but must have a real impact on the welfare of the people, ".
“I want Bireuen to not only advance in infrastructure, but also in its human resources. We must build a generation that is smart, innovative, and remains steadfast in religious values,” said Regent Mukhlis.
This Musrenbang is also more special because it takes place in the month of Ramadan. Regent Mukhlis invites all parties to make this moment a place for reflection and collaboration for better development.
“The month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings. I hope our discussion today can produce decisions that bring great benefits to the people of Kuta Blang, Gandapura, and Makmur,” he said.
The Regent also emphasized that all proposals received will be followed up seriously. He asked all his staff to work optimally in designing policies that truly side with the people.

Closing the meeting, Regent Mukhlis ensured that every proposal that came in would be monitored until the implementation stage. He emphasized that Musrenbang is not just a place to make plans, but must really produce programs that can be executed well.
"I will directly monitor the results of this Musrenbang. I don't want any programs that just stop on paper. Everything we discussed today must be realized for the welfare of the community," he said.
With firm leadership and strong commitment, the people of Bireuen now have high hopes for Regent Mukhlis. Hopefully the results of this Musrenbang will really bring change.
