Deputy Governor of Aceh Leads Ramadan Safari in Pidie.
Deputy Governor of Aceh, H. Fadhlullah, SE, led the Aceh government's Ramadan Safari in Pidie Regency on Tuesday night, March 11, 2025.
The event took place at the Pidie Labui Grand Mosque, located in Gampong Labui, Pidie District, Pidie Regency. This Ramadan Safari is part of the Aceh government's efforts to get closer to the community.
On this occasion, the Deputy Governor of Aceh handed over a number of assistance to the management of the Labui Grand Mosque, in the form of cash of IDR 25 million, six long prayer mats, and a mosque floor cleaning tool.
This assistance is expected to help manage the mosque and improve the comfort of worship for local congregations.
In addition, the Aceh government also distributed Ramadan assistance from Muzaki Baitul Mal Aceh to the community in Pidie Regency. The assistance amounted to IDR 475 million and will be given to 475 mustahik (zakat recipients) in the area, with each mustahik receiving assistance of IDR 1 million.
In his speech, Fadhlullah said that the Safari Ramadan was deliberately held in the interior as a form of the Aceh government's attention to mosques and communities in remote areas.
"We chose this mosque because during my period with the governor, we were indeed committed to choosing an interior mosque in every aid activity," he said.
Fadhlullah also reminded the importance of supporting regional head programs that aim for the welfare of the people.
"Programs such as Free Nutritional Meals and other policies are very useful for the people of Aceh," said Fadhlullah.
One of the programs that Fadhlullah also highlighted was the central government's efforts to reduce the cost of the Hajj and set the price of unhusked rice throughout Indonesia at IDR 6,500 per kilogram.
In addition, cooperatives in each village are also required to be built as part of economic recovery at the lower level.
"All cooperatives in Indonesia will be connected, with the aim of strengthening economic turnover at the village level," said Fadhlullah.
With the cooperative, the village will manage fantastic funds, ranging from three to five billion rupiah.
Fadhlullah also invited all Acehnese people to jointly support the programs that have been prepared by the government, for the sake of progress and common welfare.
On the same night, the Safari Ramadan event was also filled with a religious lecture from Ustadz Masrul Aidi, Head of the Babul Maghfirah Cot Keueng Islamic Boarding School, Aceh Besar. In his sermon, Ustadz Masrul Aidi reminded the congregation to carry out worship with full enjoyment and patience.
"Performing worship as enjoyable as possible, because human nature is indeed in a hurry," said Ustadz Masrul Aidi.
Ustadz Masrul also emphasized the importance of maintaining Islamic law in building civilization.
"If we obey the law, then we will progress. The people of Aceh must always maintain their dignity and self-respect, and play an active role in building families that support Islamic law," he said.
The Pidie Regency Government also expressed its gratitude for choosing the area as one of the destinations for the Aceh government's Safari Ramadan. They hope that this event can strengthen relations between the government and the community, as well as support the development and progress of Pidie Regency.
The Pidie Labui Grand Mosque, which is the venue for tonight's Safari Ramadan, also has a close history with Sultan Iskandar Muda, who built the mosque during his reign. This mosque is now a strong symbol of Islamic history and culture in Pidie Regency.
