KIP Bireuen Holds Healthy Walk for Peaceful Regional Election 2024.

The Independent Election Commission (KIP) of Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province held a Healthy Walk for the Peaceful Regional Head Election (Pilkada) 2024, the activity was crowded with thousands of participants from various levels of society, Sunday, 11/17/2024 morning.

The Healthy Walk activity aims to increase public participation in making the 2024 Pilkada a success.

The fun walk started at 07.00 WIB. Released by Assistant I of the Bireuen Regency Secretariat, Mulyadi, SH., MM, in front of the east door of the Bireuen Pendopo. After that, the participants immediately walked orderly following the route determined by the committee.

The route taken by the participants started from the east gate of the Bireuen Pendopo. Then, they walked north across Jalan Laksamana Malahayati. Then, turn west along Jalan Teungku Dipulo Pulo Kiton.

After that, participants continued their journey south via Jalan Kolonel Ali Basyah. Finally, crossing Jalan T Hamzah Bendahara and finishing back at the Pendopo Bireuen gate.

After completing the route, participants were willing to sit cross-legged in the courtyard of the pendopo. They patiently waited for the prize coupon drawing process to finish at around 12.00 WIB. For the lucky participants, they were very happy to be able to take home a number of attractive prizes provided by the KIP Bireuen.

The Head of the KIP Bireuen, Saiful Hadi, in his speech appreciated the presence of around 8,000 participants who were so enthusiastic about participating in this healthy walk.

"Thank you to the Forkopimda, the organizing committee, the organizers (PPK and PPS) and the entire community who have participated. Don't forget, November 27, 2024. Let's vote!" said Saiful Hadi.

Saiful also invited the community to cast their votes in the upcoming Pilkada on November 27.

"Hopefully the spirit of participation today will also be reflected in the TPS later," he hoped.

Meanwhile, Assistant I of Bireuen District Secretariat, Mulyadi, emphasized the importance of this activity, to increase public awareness of participatory supervision in the Pilkada.

"We invite all participants to jointly oversee the Pilkada process so that it runs peacefully, safely, peacefully and democratically," he said.

Mulyadi also emphasized that community involvement in supervising every stage of the democratic party is the key to the success of implementing an honest and fair Pilkada.

In addition to being a sports and togetherness event, said Mulyadi, this healthy walk is also to foster a spirit of democracy towards a healthy and democratic Pilkada 2024.
