Approaching the first day of work, Tuesday (4/3/2025). The Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen for the 2025-2030 period, H Mukhlis ST and Ir H Razuardi MT, were given peusijuk from clerics namely Tgk H Nuruzzahri Yahya (Waled Nu), and Tgk H Sofyan Mahdi (Aboen Arongan), as well as other religious figures, Monday (3/3/2025) evening, at the Regent's Pendopo.
After the peusijeuk procession, it was continued with a gathering at the Pendopo Gazebo which was attended by Danrem 011/Lilawangsa, Colonel Inf Ali Imran, Forkopimda, Regional Secretary, Head of SKPK, guests and invitees.
Bireuen Regent, H Mukhlis ST in his speech also shared his experience when participating in the Retreat program with Regents, Mayors, and Governors throughout Indonesia which lasted eight days, at the Magelang Military Academy (Akmil) Complex, Central Java Province.
Meanwhile, it was also conveyed regarding the Bireuen Regency Government budget being affected by budget efficiency from the Central Government, refocused for infrastructure reaching IDR 54 billion.
The Regent said, the Bireuen Regency Government really needs the budget, around IDR 20 billion to build four bridges that collapsed due to the flood that occurred in 2024, namely the Gampong Alue Kruep concrete bridge, Peusangan Siblah Krueng District.
The concrete bridge in Gampong Uteun Bunta, Peusangan District, and the concrete bridge in Gampong Nase Mee, Pandrah District, including one Baely bridge in Gampong Matang Bangka, Jeunieb District, have not been handled until now.
Although the budget is limited, we are ready to work hard so that the economy of the Bireuen community is not constrained and must continue to advance. We hope that in the future there will be changes in the President's program not only for free meals for students to be prioritized.
But it also needs to be balanced with infrastructure development in special areas in Bireuen such as repairing damaged roads, building bridges and other public facilities that are also very much needed by the community.
"I expect support from the community, and also journalists, let's build this area together because of course we can't build it alone.
Building this area is like running a household, if income is not balanced with expenses, there will be a budget deficit. "We hope that Bireuen will not experience a deficit," he hoped.
The Regent also conveyed the agenda during the holy month of Ramadan, namely the Ramadan safari to mosques in Bireuen Regency. For him, this is a common practice as the President Director (Dirut) of PT Takabeya Perkas Group (TPG) every year.
"I hope that the community will participate in enlivening the Ramadan safari later and when the takbiran welcomes Eid al-Fitr 1446 H it will be more lively together, the takbir keliling starts from Gandapura District to Samalanga, so that our community is also enthusiastic in welcoming Eid al-Fitr," concluded the Regent.
